"If you’d have a mind at peace and a heart that would not harden, go find a door that opens wide upon a lovely garden” -anon.

Enter into one of Dawn Stafford’s floral paintings and you have found her place of peace. Within these canvases she embraces her life-long love of gardening. She often portrays unusual or old fashioned varieties of plants that can not be found at a local florist. Some are propagated by hand, offered from friends or discovered growing wild in meadows and woodlands.
